Basically I just wanted to know whether this was normal or not...
I started my bike with the choke on, then after a minute turned the choke off and let it run for a minute whilst gently twisting the throttle now and then to raise the RPM's. After about another minute or two I turned the bike off and checked the plug. It was black, suggesting it was running rich. But the other day when I gave it a quick run up and down the road the spark plug was tan colour. Could this just be a false reading as it wasn't able to fully warm up and burn off the carbon on the spark plug?
I'm guessing it is but I just wanted a second opinion.
