It is with deep regret that i must tell you of the death yesterday of Mark Clifford, proprietor of Dirtbyke Racing , who was the main Vertemati man in the UK .
For those of you that know me, you will be familiar with Mark , as he accompanied me on all of last years events, offering me support & assistance way beyond his means, and always had a story to tell.

In his riding career , he rode enduro's at the highest level , and has pretty much ridden all forms of motorcycle sport , and gained respect from all of his competitiors.

He will be sadly missed , not just by me, but by everyone who ever had the pleasure of his company.

for those that dont know him , raise a glass anyway, and drink a toast to a good man , now no longer with us..

RIP Mark.

Gorgeous on a magnitude beyond normal comprehension, whose big stinking cock need only be flopped on the bar of the local ale house in order to attract all the women.

he was a huge ray of hope as far as the Vertemati name stood not only here in the U.K. but elsewhere too and is a sad loss to the sport and the s/m way of life.

I'm shocked

Mark encouraged me when i first met him at Sunderland for the first national i competed in and i always found him to be very helpful and a nice chap along with his wife.

Spoke to him once when I was looking at buying a Vert. I gave him a call and he gave me loads of advice about what to look out for and went out of his way to price some parts for me. Seemed like a real nice guy.

Thanks for your kind words, i'll be sure to pass them on to his partner, Susie, who phoned me tonight with the news .

Apparently the big fella keeled over in Gateshead, and did not survive.
Having been struck by diabetes , his health recently ( certainly in the time i've known him) has not been the best, and plenty of medication has been the order of the day to keep him going.

Aww, Phil that's terrible news.

The big man used to come across to Rowrah on his own to ride the trackdays, an incredibly nice bloke.

Last time I saw him he was pissed up with a big smile on his face in your dads motorhome at one o'clock in the morning - always the best way to remember someone, when they are happy and doing what they love doing.

Please pass on my deepest sympathy to his partner.

RIP Mark.
