No proper wheels yet, but I've got a lovely new CRD Absoulte Power end can winging its way to me in the post , yup I'll be going to east fortune, not sure what day though, you going?

I cant go - my dissatation has to be submitted a week on friday, and I still have two weeks worth of stuff to do on it........


So Agent S1255, your mission, should you choose to accept it -

is to take yer camera with you and look for two swona twin supa gun zorsted 660's, and get some piccies so I can see what I've let myself in for. Oohh and try to speak to the pilots of these fine machines and find out what the dyno figures are, and report back on the race results.

Infact I'll take the video camera, should get some decent footage of them pesky KTM's getting blasted up the main strait by Moto-Cal's MZ then ,

Just you focus on seeing my new pipes in action Should be a good fielsd its a section on its own this year.

Cant wait till July, the new lean fit Ant will take to the track and get his first arse kicking

I was looking at the bumpf that you get with your melville membership stuff, is n't there a few racers from other classes doing the supermoto class as well, namely that Torquill Paterson who I think is a bit handy on a bike,

I think you'll do better than you think, for a few reasons one being theres no off road section and your used to riding on tarmac, secondly you've got a 660 and east fortune is quite a fast and open track,

Thirdly with a swona exhaust and set up your bike will be faster still, so really all you've got to do is make it round the corners at a reasonable pace and let the 660 do the rest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quite a few of the runners go in three or four classes, which means their local knowledge is serious.

Plan A, try to latch on to one of them to learn the place.

Plan B, try to latch on to someone who has been before.

Plan C, just ride as fast as a twat can ride and see how far back I end up.

God news is, I will have a bike well suited to the track, just need to get me as good as the bike - thats the harder bit (but not impossible)

I know one wiz there with twin swona supaguns, my mate was in the 400's and I phoned about two-ish.

Apparently the 660 still had the stock orange tail and light which looked a bit silly with the black carbon side panels?

All I know is the 660 blerk was in a novice bib and a Berg won two races.

Give us a full report, Sunmiester, please.
