im looking at getting some goldspeeds road legal, what sort of miles will i get out of them, are there any as good grip with better milage?thanks
here Dutch...here boy......
Read it. Resisted.
Doh.....dissapointed.... Maxxis tyres....Silvers....£157.45 delivered, milage...fronts around 3500 rears around 1500 or so.Inters (also Road legal) £196.25 delivered Milage around 3000 fronts around 1000 rearsInter front/Silver rear combo £172.75 delivered milage around 3000 fronts around 1500 rears...milage depends on wht bike its fitted too and whether or not you have any throttle sensitivity Some LC4 pilots do complain about instability or weave at higher speeds...but not all of em! I've never had a problem, even running the cut slicks...(which are also road legal as well)
are ccm's meant to be slow then?
Wait for it...... wait for it.......
Or you could go for Maxxis Supermoto tyres (Not Goldspeed (re-open that can of worms)) for £130 delivered.Ive been getting just under 2,000 on a rear
2000 miles eh ???obvioulsy one of three things here.....1) it's a Husky.....couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding..... 2) you are suvvern and therefore ride like a Gurl....... 3) the "prezza's are as Hard as fuck to acheive those milages....good for these horrid cold slippy roads at the moment !
Hu???? I thought Maxxis and Goldspeed wert same
Secrets out, i am a girl (And a fookin ugly one at that)
they are....Maxxis make Goldspeeds...which are the Official Import UK SM tyre from them....they also make the Prezza which is a tyre for a different market (US maybe ?? ) and are different compounds ( allegedly) to the Goldspeeds...there was quite a thread about them a while back///try searching for more info ! Ahhhhhhhh that'll explain you not falling off on those Bakalite Prezza things then...
I got the same mileage from a Goldspeed road compound
CCM handles and rides fine for me not heavy or slow, just wanted good tyres.... thats all
