Well generally looking for someone to carry out any sort of work as problems arise (tick tick) but at the moment I need my cam chain replaced and really don't fancy that myself as I tend to break things

2001 19000km. Service intervals show you have to change cam chain every 10k but Husky Sport say it is not part of a service and want nearly £300 (excluding sliders and top gear if required) to change the darn thing

You will have to bear with me as my knowledge is very limited. But there is a slight "tappet" noise from the left hand side of the engine. I have checked and adjusted the valve clearances. Looking at the adjustor it has about 8mm travel left in it (can you compress by hand or is it only compressed with the small internal screw)? Cheers for your help but I really am stumped when it comes to this sort of thing

if the rattle disappears just off t/over, then auto decomp.

however my camchains only last 5-6k miles, but i am an animal, and the head has .75mm off it.

changing the cam chain is a piece of cake............if you have the right puller

use Electrex for all your electrical woes, top people
i'm sorry, you have mistaken me for someone who gives a shit
