Went to CCMs Flattrack day Saturday and it was the conkers! I would have never have thought riding round on a dirt oval with no brakes could be so much fun.

We Had Peter Boast as an instructor and was supurb, six in a group and started of with slowish slides then moved to the full track with plenty of one on one tuition, with the instructor following us round telling us where we were going wrong or what we were doing right. Then theres a good lunch laid on and more track time.

At the end both instructors put us in all in three groups and had some races.

Very well run and organised, good instructors and a heap load of fun! Would recomened it to anyone. The only down fall of the day was that i had mounted my helmet camera too low and got 20mins of gravel footage......bugger! and now i want to go again:burnout:

Was a great day cheers, me and me mate now quite fancy one but there doesnt seem to be any where to practice. The only thing you seem to be able to do is ride in the short track series...might have to grow some bigger knackers and get out there. Will look forward to watching it all at the BMF, should be good if kings lynn is anything to go by.

Sorry i think it was the last slide school they were doing this year, keep ya eye out on the ccm website, they might post up some more dates.

addictive, you aint kiddin, Phoned CCM up again today and they have another three dates on.......soooo tempted to book again. Just been out in the shed and see if it was worth lowering the husky Too much work i recon. I will have to have a look around the BMF bike jumble and see what old rats are up for sale there! Or failing that i might have to find a new home for the 350LC
