Anyone have any experience with the new Supermoto sized slicks from Avon? The rains? How do these compare to their DOT's or other mfgrs tires?

Thanks,
Mike

I understand they make both a "DOT" wet and a supersoft wet. The DOT wet can be run on a dry track (like pirelli MT60R's no doubt) and the soft wets are for a very wet track only. Which did you use?

Spoon, it was the Azaros I was keen to get rid of.

Maybe it's time we started giving the Tomahawks a shout, I've not used them myself but they look like a quality item. They'll be going on next I think.

I have a 'not for road use' avon wet on the front, the same as Mot. I have put about 800 miles on it and it still looks fine It has never moved on me, not even at reading on the wet day.

The Dude has the legal one and we were comparing them. We thought tha mine might be softer but they felt the same heat after a run but mine had a few more bits stuck in it, so might be a bit softer.

Definately reccomended. Not tried the rear though.

theres a few on the ccm list use them and swear by them, they do 3 compunds, sprint being the stickest, and has less tread than a cut slick
