yea too much body work, im my opinion a supermoto is a Crosser with road wheels

seems like they're trying to attract the road brigade into buying them.....

Gotta say those odd ball 690,s are getting a lot of good reviews, and spose when your riding it ,you cant see how ugly they are..

still dont stop me liking it tho, prefer my supermoto to look more simple mx with road wheels than the new 690

I did 100 miles in one go on my 690 on saturday and did not feel like I had to stop, straights were not a thing to be avoided, cruising at a 100 mph not a problem. Had a little race with a 950 SM and there was nothing between them in acceleration!!! For some reason they look good in real life but not so good in pictures ?? When the pipes have been changed the 690 is cool as FXXX! and everyone who has seen it really likes it! Sorry guys time to take the blinkers off. Those old 640's, 660's, Skodabergs, XR's etc are so yesterday, the 690 is a new modern look that some people havnt got used to yet. They are great fun to ride and you can hang on to superbikes down the straight and then destroy them in the corners !! Try it you will like it.

I should co-co. I'm 6ft and I like tall girls and she's well taller than me, slim, pretty and really lovely to talk to.

I met her on the London-Hastings bank holiday ride with a Moto and a few other Supermoto riders a couple of years ago. It turned out she was going to be covering the UK SM racing that year and saw our bikes so she came over for a quick chat.

Absolutely bloody gorgeous.

She also raced a supermoto at Lydden Hill at the big European Championship round back in 2003 or 4! Top bird.

Rusco i dont have to accept it People still like old harleys for example every one likes different things and how i like my sm's is bare naked mxers with 17"s on

OK I hear what your saying - but you may like the look of the SMR version due out maybe early next year - more power and I would think stripped of some of the road clutter or even the Duke III that is supposed to be nice?? We will see but the future looks like a 690 in some form or other. I like the ol MX look too but on the road you aint gonna be able to keep up with Beaky Big Bird thats for sure !!!!
