I' trying to access the site on a Mac using Safari and, while I can see people's posts, I can't quote them - there's no 'quote' button - and there are no smilies.

Any ideas?

It's a known problem, I have the same and they have it scheduled as a fix. Apparently it works ok with Fiefox, but I just live withut it for now.

Hi Nik,

Unfortunately the the software that we use to facilitate the use of smilies and quoting does not work in Safari on a MAC. We are unable to rectify this I'm afraid. It does however, work on Firefox on MAC. Please accept our apologies.
