Which helmet for a shepherd?

Hi All

As per title, I am a shepherd, using a honda 500 ATV for most of my work - I really could do with a lid, to keep flies and dust out of my eyes as well as keeping safe! Would like a flipfront visor so that I have the best of both worlds and have a budget of around £100.

I have no prior experience to helmet buying - despite riding atvs for years so would appreciate some help.

Well, your choice is quite open really. You could buy a cheaper MX lid if you're riding mainly off-road. The benefit to them is that they're lighter.

If you want a flip-front lid then you could look at something like a Caberg, however they're generally heavier than a standard lid due to the flip mechanism.

I was in George White's Slough at the weekend and they had HJC Lotus full-face helmets for £25. Bargain.
