Yamaha Wr 426 53 plate in awesome condition with tax and mot.

Been fully converted to supermoto with all the right makes. Black excel rims with gold talon hubs. Braided hoses on front with 320mm disc and 4 pot calliper braking system. Full white brothers exhaust system with sounds great and can be heard from miles away.Also incuded in sale in the are the original enduro parts which include wheels brakes front + rear fender both new. This bike has just been fitted with brand new plastics and 2006 troy graphics which look awesome.


Bike has the oil changed every 6hours valve clearances have been checked and correct. The bike nver fails to start even after long standing time.

The tank graphics have not been placed on tank yet they are still in box.I have been trying to put pictures on this thread but cant seem to do it so if anybody is interested i can email them. Also i have not fitted the rear Yz fender with strip brake light which will make the rear look alot better.

I have bought a new Sv650s now so at the moment the bike is taking up room in the garage which i do not have .

Looking for £2500 BARGAIN seeing as the bike has cost me a fortune to put it into supermoto trim.

Hi folks

So here she is - the finest off-road motorcycle ever made (IMO) My very clean and barely used 450 is up for sale.I'm looking for £2995.

The bike is an '04 model on 53 plate, currently SORN'ed. It's done 66 hours/1600 miles, and has been religously serviced every 15 hours. I do it myself cos then I know it's been done right. Sadly for me (but good for you) it has spent a lot of time sitting in my garage.

It comes with handguards, bar risers, bash plate (metal not plastic), clutch saver and neoprene fork covers. Rear sprocket is in good nick, front is new, and the chain has plenty of life in it still. It also comes with a new Michelin Enduro Comp III rear tyre, front one is fine, and the full tool kit, including a chain breaker. I've fitted new fork guards and a new rear mudguard - I drilled holes in the old one to bolt my tailpack on. A new, higher rated Yuasa battery went in about a year ago, and I have all the indicators but they're not fitted. (Oh and I will clean and oil the airfilter).

It's been owned by me from new - then loaned to a (55 yr old TRF and Pipe and Slippers club member) friend of mine to take trail riding in Spain. He put 18 hours on it, now it's back with me again.

It's in great nick as you'll see from the photos. I could deliver FOC within about 50 miles of Oxford - any further and we'll have to talk!.

Full toolkit inc. spare bulbs, fuses, clutch cable and the preload adjuster spanners for both standard & Hagon shocks. al the lights & indicators work. It's fitted with Heated Grips but they don't appear to work & I've not yet looked in to the reason why.

No Service book but plenty of receipts for parts etc, until yesterday the bike had had the same owner since July 1996.

Speedo was replaced in May 2003, new speedo currently showing 5,337 miles. I have most of the old MOT certificates, mileage shown as follows:

June 1995: 27,093m
July 1996: 30,179m
July 1997: 33,502m
July 1998: 35,065m
July 1999: 38,829m
June 2000:40,825m
July 2001: 41,217m
July 2002: 41,217m
2003:No MOT provided.
2004: No MOT provided
July 2005: 3,028m
July 2006: 4,285m

The bike was in used during those years where I've not got the old MOT, albeit with a non-functioning speedo. Based on an average of 3,000 miles per year & the current speedo reading of 5,337 miles, I believe that this bike has covered a genuine 55,000 to 60,000 miles max.

I've not attempted to tidy it up yet, I'm advertising it as I got it. It rides fine, has heavier fork oil fitted, gearchange action is smooth & I've got all the keys.

Price: £1,850 ONO or PX + cash for '03 or '04 onwards KTM 400/450EXC.
