Help me out here guys with your views.
I'm thinking of parading a vintage small capacity machine and although I'm going to be looking where I'm going and not glancing over my shoulder to see who is coming up behind, I don't want to be seriously in the way of other folk who are going at more than twice my pace. With its short wheelbase and quick steering my little bike should be pretty nimble round hairpins and slow corners but with no brakes and pram tyres the approach and entry speeds will be fairly pedestrian.
Like trackdays, at parades there is overtaking everwhere and on both sides. On the straights (not sure what circuit) should I keep over to one side or the other? I believe I still have a right to the racing line, but I'm not planning to cut in front of other bikes or make erratic changes of direction. Am I going to be a pain in the whatsit and should I forget the whole idea?
