Rockingham question?

I want to do Rockingham on the 7th May.

Now Gwent police have kindly given 3 points so the licence will have to go off to them, but i want to go on the trackday and i don't think my licence will be back in time as it is currently with the DVLA getting details changed.

I did Rockingham last year and i don't seem to remember No Limits checking my licence. I spoke to NL yesterday and the guy who answered didn't seem to sure himself and basically told me i will probably need it for the day.

Can anyone answer this one? I have a full colour photocopy of it.

I forgot to take mine at Brands last year, they phoned up DLVC to see if it was still current and all was good
but dont know if rockingham/NL will do this

Problem is the trackday is on a Bank Holiday.

I know that can be done. I thought Rockingham was like Donington where they don't bother looking at your licence.

It is the trackday organiser who will want to see your licence to prove you are legally entitled to ride a motorcycle.
I normally just show my plastic 'credit card' part - never get asked for the paper one (the one with endorsements on!)
I would seek assurances from NL that they will accept a photocopy (and get persons name who said it would be OK) or else could be a wasted day

no limits are not normally bothered its only when you do MSV tracks that you need one with them
my mate hasnt even got a licence and hes going with us lot to rockingham on the 7th
so he will be fucked if you need one there
your only supposed to blow the bloody doors off

You don't need your licence at Rockingham, it's only the MSV tracks that require it

Depends on the TDO but no limits generally dont require a licence unless your on an MSV track ie brands, cadwell etc, others like focused events, I think, want to see them all the time.

Every TDO has different rules.

Just spoke to Mark at No Limits. He told me that with No Limits you only need to produce your licence at Motor Sport Vision tracks.

Brands Hatch.
Cadwell.
Oulton.
Snetterton.

When you submitted your license they give you a yellow piece back from the "charge sheet/producer ticket". This is valid as your paper license until you get the other bit back. Had the same problem as I visited Wales too. Never been before never will willingly go again - smart ass traffic taffs. No Limits are verry relaxed and never even asked for my License at Donnington and Rockingham is less strict than most tracks.

No Limits Dont Fanny Around Looking At Your Licence Unless The Track Owners Want That. Rockingham Dont Bother
