Fun in the SUN
I'll do a wordy report laters.
Back again to my favourite racetrack:
Early morning and the sky is blue:
I think this at Dry Sack, the hairpin at the end of the back straight:
Bit of lean angle in the next 3. If you look closely at the down pipes for the rear cylinder, you can see my cunning repair with 2 Red Bull cans and 4 jubilee clips! (Details to follow in report.)
Wonky Pipes
It's Harry Monk!
Harry on one of his 2 Slingshot Racing (08 ) Blades. A superduke is no longer fast enough.
One of the very fast right handers at the end of the lap.
Moto GP replica / 2 wheeled porn.
Climbing out of turn 1, a nice impression of the elevation changes.
And going down a bit.
CBR chasing:
HANDS UP IF YOU LOVE JEREZ!
Excellent shots D.P.!! you must know that track like the back of your hand now.
How was H going? that blade of his can pick it's feet up can't it?
Better to have a bad day on the bike, than a good day at work.........
Harry was going well, he seems to be getting on with the blade.
I only managed 5 laps on the last day due to my headers splitting worse, I was really looking forward to doing some decent laps with him.
Nice pics...
As a newbie to track days Jerez was a great place to start. The high-viz tops are no fashion statement but I guess they do serve a purpose, altho I did wonder after the guy who came under on the 3rd last before he binned it into the gravel... Hmm I still need to put the cam-vid up.!!
The GP replica did sound awesome and the 09 R1 in our garage wasn't far behind...
A great week...!!

Are you talking about the yellow GSXR, near the end of day 3?
No it wasn't John.
It was a guy from my garage who had swapped bikes with his mate. He must of been about the quickest guy there, doing 1 min 54 on a GSXR750, and took his friends thou out.
He said to me afterwards he was pushing on and came up on a slower rider coming into the right handers at the end of a lap, went under the rider and found that he ran out of track on the exit because he's gone in on a much tighter line. He admitted he should have backed off.
It is really only a single line through there if you are on it. (Although Rossi and Gibbers manage to pass and repass there in THAT race.)
A couple of me own shots from the tour too then Pete
Its easy enough to be happy, when the world rolls along like a song
But a mans worthwhile,if he can smile when everythings gone fucking wrong
Adolf Hitler 1945
I was at Parc Algar in April fella.
It's a bloody great place isn't it! Apart from the "Motorway" section, that is.
Motorway? You mean the last two corners and the straight?
I only did a quick Google for the WSB testing times. I was going 'round in roughly 2:15 which is pretty average, I think Harry said he was doing 2:09s.

Sorry I missed this post Pete.
I've got to ask why your exhausts are a bit wonky mate.
