Germany B500. 6 Day Tour DATES: 14th July to 19th July 2012
Germany and the infamous Schwarzwald Hochstrasse or B500 as it is officially known.
We will catch the early ferry from Dover to Calais on Saturday morning and following a short initial safety briefing onboard, enjoy the trip across the Channel to France. Then it's ride through France and Belgium and our first overnight stop in Bastogne. Approx 240 miles
Day two sees us up for breakfast then we head for Baden Baden. This Spa town is famous for it Casino, Theatre and good food. This is our second overnight stop before we get on the B500 in the morning. Approx 210 miles
Day three sees us enjoying the fantastic engineering and the sweeping bends of the infamous Schwarzwald Hochstrasse, The Black Forest High Street/ Road or B500. Today we follow the road South towards the town of Bad Sackingen via Freudenstadt, Triberg, Neustadt & Waldshut. Approx 150 miles
This is a fast winding route that takes you through the heart of the Black forest. A fast, wide road with good visibility and beautiful scenery. Approx 200 miles
Day four and we ride some more great roads through the Black Forest to Freiburg & Offenburg before we head for Saarbrucken. Approx 190 miles
Day 5 Today we continue North West dipping into France and then on towards Charleroi. Approx 190 miles
Day six and unfortunately today is our last day as we head back towards Calais and the ferry home.
