You are comparing apples and oranges there, matey. And you haven't mentioned your budget.

The bandit is a great, fun bike, comfy and capable in a budget sort of way. They are not well protected from weather so avoid any rust buckets and don't use it in winter. If you have the extra cash, a 600 hornet might be a better prospect.

If you want a sports bike, you can't go wrong with the cbr but the later models get more seriously sporty.

ZZR was ok at the time but looks seriously dated now. And heavy. Good strong kwaka engines though.

Yeah let us know your budget and the type of riding you do and distance you cover.

I've got a Z750s had it since new with no probs, I would recommend it to you while its not amazing it has the edge on the bikes you mention due to the bigger motor and the weather protection from the half fairing. They were cheap new and are seriously cheap now. 2500 quid will get you one from a dealer with a warranty.

Right now don't have budget for new should I buy second hand.

One of the best bikes I ever had was a Honda Hornet 600 with an aftermarket can on it, I'd really recommend one of those as a fast fun all-rounder.

I'd stick with the trusty old 400 for another year and try to save another grand.

£1000 will get you a 'project'.

Bandits are made for winter riding just cover in it acf50 and it will be fine.
