Got to chuckle, I'd wager there was quite a bit of slipstreaming, plenty of bravery and a decent hill involved in getting the rpm that high, too bad it's only really going to be ~80mph or so in reality.

yeah there was a decent sized hill involved and this is in MPH not kph

You'll likely find that speedo is closer to KPH than MPH despite what it claims, wildly inaccurate speedos are popular marketing trick with bikes aimed at the spanish youth market. I'd suspect 100mph on those clocks is going to equate to around a real 70mph.

Ps, that's a Koso unit if I'm not mistaken, borrow a satnav and tinker with the wheel diameter settings and you'll likely be able to calibrate it to show a more accurate (if less exciting) speed reading.

Watch the youtube link I put up, no need for a satnav to calibrate the speedo

I'm not sure what you are trying to say? Only way an unfaired 4t 125 is going to hit a real 130+ mph is if you drop it out the back of a helicopter, those kind of speedo readings are likely the result of the koso clocks being set for a much larger front wheel than what is fitted

i have seen the video on your link and i also made my own video and its the link i have shared , the person who i got my bike from done a really bad job of tacking the baffles out the exhaust so what i done was made a straight through pipe with a mesh like tube insulation and wire wool, its loud but it made it a lot faster

It shows it maxing out the tacho at 132kph aka 82mph? Just kind of backs my point unless I'm missing something?

the KOSO RX1N (my tako) records the fastest speed that you do and it saves it, so if i go faster it will save the faster speed because this tako is made for use on the track as well seen as though you can record you lap times or see your gear change or the speedometer. This is the top speed that i got i agree the bike was flat out and it has modifications but there is no chance of it hitting this speed stock.

A) You've got somewhere between a third and a quarter of the sort of power it takes to hit those kind of speeds.

B) 11k rpm at 124mph is completely bogus with the gearbox that's in that bike, only place you are going to find a rear sprocket small enough for that is in a lego box

That bike isn't going to hit a true 124mph even if you throw a 250 engine swap or 180 kit + carbs at it frankly. I stand by my approximation that you were really doing ~80mph there (Which is still pretty good going for a 4 stroke 125 may I add).

all he done there is held in the button on the clock that set it to it highest rev and speed setting the clocks will go up to any one with one of these bike will know that try it hold down the left hand button on the clocks and it will read 124 mph with the word max under it as in the picture and the revs neddle will go up to 11,000 revs as in the picture nice one mate but you been caught out
