Have owned the Ducati and Aprilia from new. the Bimota joined the family about 3 years ago.

Only just finished running the D16 in, so haven't really pushed it that hard, this summer hopefully. Recently the weather has been terrible, so they're all tucked up in the garage.

I guess this is SO long ago you no longer monitor this thread but I've long been dying to hear from an OWNER/RIDER of this Bimota. Read so many things over the years but so glad one company had balls to make 500cc two stroke given they were what gp fans loved at the time (and still do?). I suspect eventually we'll come full circle and return to two strokes. They are inherently more efficient- the modern watch word. I believe Lotus have a modern cutting edge two stroke too.

All this said- it's irrelevant as noone reads this page anymore. Ah well, chatting to myself!

The Ducati is awesome.Am a Kawi fan but Ducatis are my second option. I think I should add it to my collection too.
