I finally received my 1000 two weeks ago after ordering it last December...
I spent the first week breaking it in. Six days, two oil changes and 1000 miles saw me ready for the winding roads of Arkansas last weekend. After spending a 500 mile day doing nothing but hard cornering on Arkansas' twistiest offerings, I definately am in LOVE with this bike.
This weekend I had to work but I managed to go out for a ride Saturday with a couple of Squids and we had a camera along. Here's a couple of a photos they took of me - ones where the bike is actually in the frame
The sit downs are in first gear, the stand ups are in second gear. I did some standups in 3rd gear as well but the camera guy couldn't catch me as I'd go by too fast. Oh well :-)
