With all the hoo ha about Ducati demanding rule changes in WSB so they can run their shiny new bikes, what about the supersport class?

A picture in todays MCN is suggesting that the 1098's little brother will be 850cc. AFAIK that's not eligible for the supersport class.

What do you think the big D will do? Stamp their feet and hold their breath until the rulemakers bow to them, or will they walk away?

BTW, is the triumph 675 eligible?

I agree with allowing them 1200cc for WSB, but 850 in WSS would be too much..250cc on a smaller engine is way too much.. can't see it happening & i don't think Ducati is too intrested in racing WSS, they've not run a factory team for years.

Triumph 675 is allowed in BSS & WSS this year, wasn't allowed in WSS last year.

yaaa ducati will probably be concentratin on the sbk class and probably would dominate it atleast seein the reviews from various test riders.....which shows its a very potent bike......!hope fully ducati will continue in sbk and continue its domination..!!
