Car, yes.Bike, no.
Where are you? Why are you here? Look at this
fortunately i live 3 eyewateringly fast country road miles away from my work place, I leave my estate and on the right i have the town and the left i have the country 25feet appart. As a result i have never factored economy into any automotive purchase. For me its all about getting as much power as i can afford to be insured under 6 mile round trip to work and back hardly makes a dent, Still, i managed to drink a tank of fuel in 5 days if its dry as the bike spends most of its time high in the rev range there and back
Me? Yes, very much so, still considering a diesel Enfield modded to run on bio. I can't see much changing with the fuel supply situation in the future so I'm preparing to reign things in a bit. Et vous?
I've been wondering if there's any point in ever buying another bike at all - petrol's getting a bit expensive to be used in a weekend toy, and I need the practicality of a car too often to consider having a motorbike as my sole form of transport.
Sadly yes... will probably be leaving the big sports bikes alone and go for a middleweight motard or something.
