Me I'm in a couple o places, but still like VD, I am sure the little tweaks that will be applied over the coming weeks will make it a bit easier.

Have made a few mates over the past year or so, and was pointed int other direction by a couple of them, I will see how things pan out but hope to remain on all the forums I am a member of and friends with thise who may have gone.

I will never be the most frequent poster as I have a job to do which takes priority over forum life.  Hopefully I will have something useful to add wherever I may be.

Yep. Gotta agree with that.

"Agreed with Taz, however I cannot help feeling a tad disappointed so many left so quickly (and I've pointed that out over t'other place).  Been here a long time, I like it here.  So what if there's new management and a few changes, VD was always what people made of it, and for so many to leave to permanently go elsewhere is sad IMO.  I'll happily pop over to the other site(s) and post occasionally (this frequency may change over time I guess), but I still "belong" to VD...it's where my heart is "

 I think I was more suprised than anything else.. Although I think in the fullness of time the number of people who actually stay away for good will be less than people think it might be, or that it may appear to be right now.

The funniest bit is that bar a few posters, the thread starter and the rest are new here. They havn't had time to become 'regulars' and part of what was a community.

Maybe this attitude is why some have left?

Oddly enough, as you may have noticed, I'm still posting here, although I was an ear'y sign-up on therevcounter.com

But I also used to use Ridersite, I stilluse Rapid Training's forum, and a BMW one, and an 'advanced' one, SafeSpeed . . .

But I'll be using this (been registered since 2001 IIRC) one less - simply because the changes have made it harder for me to use it - particularly Survival Skills - the way I used to.
