Back in the 90's before the local constabulary had a reincarnation of Hitler for their leader, the road from Bala up to Snowdon, especially the first 18 miles, i have done track days at every track in this country and some abroad, none come near that stretch of road for safe(you can see for miles) fast riding.

 Which one is that then? Im guessing you mean the A4212 from Bala to Trawsfynydd but its a tad hard to tell from your rather vaugue description.

Good plan, as there is  no way that the local plod will know which roads are favoured by bikers

Any copper worth a penny would know where the fun roads are on his patch.

ESPECIALLY as he undoubtedly spent days ragging a car/bike round them on his police driving/riding course.

I don't see the post as being deliberately vague any how, just vague.
