As the UberGothDwarf is bemoaning the qwalitee of the threads currently populating General, I challenge him, or anyone else, to bounce 5 worthwhile threads, regardless of age, onto the front page. We will then judge his (or her) taste and berate/applaud their wit and insight.

You have one week to complete this task.

Success will entitle you to continue to rail against the dross, failure will mean that you will remain forever silent about the content or lack thereof.

Does anyone dare take up this challenge?

Fucking hell...i've just made 2 in the last hour....

i can easily knock up another 3 if you want....

it's not the quantity of good threads that's the problem. it's the quantity of shite that makes the decent ones sink.

How do you figure that?

He has to post what he deems to be 5 quality threads.
We then judge him on his choice
If he wins he can continue to moan
If he loses he has to forgo the complaining

I think it was a cry for help myself. I suspect he is coming under the cosh at home and he can only release his pent up anger through the medium that is VD. I'll bet if he had a wank he would feel al lot better.

(If anyone else needs a psychological profile, feel free to ask)

Well, I think that this is something that is common across the board (myself excluded of course) but his would be no smaller than yours for instance! I think it's something more fundamental than that, perhaps a self esteem issue
