Last month I ordered a little something from a New Zealand firm, as a pressie for my Tiger. They sent it out international recorded delivery very promptly, and it arrived in the UK two days later. 2 fcuking weeks later and Royal Mail still haven't managed to deliver the fucking thing!!!!!!

I can't even track it on Royal Mail's web site, yet the delivery attempts show up on www.nzpost.co.nz . According to that Royal Mail have tried to deliver it twice - on the first day I was in all frigging day!!!!!

Is there anyway I could collect the parcel from the sorting office??? Or do I just camp on the doorstep until some jolly twat in shorts turns up with a big box?

You sure its not customs holding it wanting you to pay duty?

Similar thing happened to a mate who got Ice Screws ( for ice climbing) sent across from the states

You should have recieved a little card if the post office tried to deliver

Phone your local customs office ( im presuming the items were of some value £50 plus)

If as they've said they tried to deliver it but you weren't in etc, they'll have left a card with a phone number on to ring for it to be delivered at another time, or you can take the card to your local sorting office and pick it up from there.

Nope, they haven't left anything, but Kiwi post show two failed delivery attempts.

Just got all excited when a bloke with a big parcel came to the door - from Citilink though, and delivering some joy from Jack Lilley. Guess I'll have to make do with this until Royal Mail come through

It is possible that they've not left a card.

I've had that situation. I was expecting a parcel but heard nothing for a week, used the tracking number and found out they had attempted delivery although no card had been left.

I phoned the depot up and they said to come down with some ID with my name and address on and I could pick it up. Which I did.
