RED KEY - Ive lost it, what can i do now please?

Ive just bought a 2004 zx10r, but i want to get a spare key as it only came with 1 black key, i rang kawasaki they said you need the red key to programme the spare etc, when i contacted the bloke i bought it from he said he's lost it when he moved, kawasaki said i would need to buy a new ecu and a new lock set if i lost my key, i didnt ask how much that would be... so any other ideas please....

Breakers - get ECU + lock set from an existing bike being broken up. You may be waiting some time though.

I lost my key while touring; no ECU replacement needed (no immobilizer) but it still set me back 500+ EUR for new ignition, seat and tank locks.
