Got the Motorola V3x as upgrade
Can anyone help me with these please;

How do you lock the keypad?

How do you change the message alert?

Simple things, but I can't find out how to

Any other tips would be appreciated guys

Unfortunately didn't cover the functions I wanted, but thanks anyway.

Errr, why would you want a keyboard lock on a flip phone?

As for the rest, did it not come with a manual?

Have to change the message alert tone on each of the diff profiles (loud,silent,soft etc..) Just go into Settings > Ring Styles and choose the profile you want to change

The manual is piss poor, for that sort of thing. Took me ages to work out how to change ringtone and add pics to contacts.

A bit of advice: Don't change the ringtone for you wife to 'Smack My Bitch Up'...doesn't get you many brownie points
