Guys, if your travelling south on A3, watch out as police are on top of one of the bridges over A3 between Esher turn off and M25 - Not sure exactly as was out for ride and crossed over the A3, passing all the cameras, 2 police cars and 2 police bikes, one of which was just taking off down the slip road, obviously after someone.

Painshill roundabout?

They must be doing an all-dayer because they were lurking around the New Malden turn-off earlier this morning. Some nice chap in the car in front of me saw them a long time after I had and pulled in, expecting me to blast past. Some very considerate people on the roads these days.

Didn't see any of em this morning at about 8 - from Chessington northbounds - are they south of the "Ace of Spades"??

After you come off/get on.

Real men are going cross-country by that point anyway.

North mate, between 8 and 8.30ish this morning on the last junction before you get to Coombe Lane. One lurking on the roundabout observing traffic, one on the slip road ready to play chase.

By the sounds of it they're now south of the Ace of Spades so we're in the clear.

The police seem to love this area! I remember a couple of months ago when they had a thing about having coppers on series of junctions/roundabouts - presumably looking for tax disc-evaders... A pretty good way of doing it really! But can't be much fun for them!

I had to do some very skilful driving to not get noticed at the 3 junctions that they were on! And if I may say so myself I did it wonderfully... but it did make me make up my mind and go off and buy a tax disc - which I'd been putting off for ages!!

I like the idea of the police having a presence out and about on our roads... actually seeing them around is comforting in a way...

But obviously they should really all be off chasing proper criminals...

Does anyone know the slip road left turn off the A3 just before Robin Hood roundabout?  It's a no left turn between about 7 and 9.30 am but I didn't realise that and did turn into it twice last week.  Would REALLY like to know if there are camers there.  Anyone know please?  Many thanks Carrots
