Is there a site anywhere that tells you the starting prices. Can't seem to find anything straightforward.

there is a book with guides for injuries

if i had all mine seperately i'd be on about 400,00 to 700,000 just for the injuries but combined can be as little as 100,000 as each injury blurs into the next

stupid really isnt it?

I assume you mean payouts.
There are two books.
Kemp and Kemp on Damages is the practitioners book. It has all sorts of gruesome pictures that gives specific prices for various injuries.
The second book has general ranges for types of injuries with bands in the types of injuries.
I know I can get hold of the second book (in two weeks time), but I don't know about Kemp and Kemp.

But that is just the 'injury' part of damages (i.e. pain and suffering). You then have to add on the compensatory element which can be HUGE. Depends on how bad the injury, how permanent, what wage you're on, and whether you can continue in your job, and medical care needed, amongst others.

Do not rely on anything I have said. Unless of course you have paid for the pleasure. Whereupon my insurance will sort out the mess.
But you can trust me not to blab it round the forum.

The book that is used by the law firms, courts and solicitors is the "Guidelines for the Assessment of General Damages in Personal Injury Cases" written by the Judicial Studies Board and published by Oxford University Press ISBN 0-19-925795-7

PM me with and outline of your injuries and I will be happy to give you an approximate lower and upper limit for those injuries, based on their being no contrib.
