No kids....how old are you?

I'm 37 and have no children, and am quite happy about it. But many people keep asking "when are you going to have some, better do it soon".

I always said that I wanted to be extra careful about who I had any children with as I didn't want to have a childhood like my own with 'parent troubles' etc. So the opportunity has been there, but its a choice I made early on to be 100% sure before taking that huge leap in life. As time goes on, I want children less not more...

Is it so wrong of me not to need children to justify my existence, is it wrong to be happy enough without any offspring, is there some age when people start seeing you as weird if you don have children.

Am I strange, or perfectly normal?

The chance of somebody watching you is directly proportional to the stupidity of your actions.

27, no kids, and no plans to have any in the near future either...

Sawdust Balls? I've even got a godson. What were they thinking of? They keep hiding the airsoft guns I buy him.

29 no kids, do want some one day but need a serious girlfriend first

Statistically you're strange as most people by 37 have had children (my eldest was 10 when I was 37).

But, if you really don't want children then don't let anyone pressure you into having any.

35 and no kids here... I get the same questions too! At the end of the day, It's Miss Mittens biological clock ticking... Not mine! She's 29 at the minute, So I figure we have a couple of years at best before I get shotguned into babies and marrige!!

Don't get me wrong... I want the little squawking shit machines eventually, But when I and Miss Mittens are good and ready thakyouverymuch!

P.S. We have been together for 15 years.... So I would say we know our own minds and each others by now!

34, no kids, no plans. I don't wanna bring a child into this world, it's fucked enough already

37 no kids yet.

To be honest todays world isnt very appealing is it?
I mean any child could turn out to be a junkie/thief/murderer..............etc

I have been pondering though, that maybe soon, one would do but isnt it expensive trying to live, pay mortgage, have a car, bike, holidays then a kid as well!!

In me 50s and no kids. Never EVER wanted any. I hate kids. They're noisy, smelly, demanding, and soak up all yer money
I thus lead quite a comfy lifestyle thank you very much.

If you don't want 'em, don't have 'em. Just as long as you are sure. My brother has reached 40 now and hasn't had any and is now sorry about it.

Me, now that the Sprogthing is about to be married (4 weeks and 3 days and counting down), I'm looking forward to the single, selfish existence that I am truly cut out for.

I didn't get married until just before my 40th birthday, and son was born when I was 41.

Not 'deliberate' as such, I didn't want kids when I was younger. But people change, I did.

38 no kids...have had no great urge to have kids, but had lots of fun practising over the years

I've also not been married, which helps.

My bro (or rather his wife ) is just about to have his first at 40 ..so may be I will get the baby bug. Or it might put me off completely.

No kids here and no plans to have them. We were in two minds early on but am now glad we made the decision not to have any. Stockport is the arsehole of Britain, you would have to be the best parent in the world (which I most certainly would not be) to keep them out of a life of crime.

If we manage to move out to a nicer area in a couple of years time I will be past 40, there is no way I am going to have little people running round me at that age.
