My new bike has a Datatool alarm, do I ditch it?

The alarm is fantastic, keep it. The bike is shite and worthless.  Ditch it...I'll give you a tenner for it, but no more.

I had the same alarm on my old Daytona and it was a complete nightmare.

Had to keep it connected to a battery optimiser to stop it going flat.

You cannot even switch it off, so even putting it on a ferry meant putting it into maintenance mode, plus it armed halfway through filling the tank.

If you keep the bike in a garage next to your house, ditch the bike alarm and alarm the garage instead....

up to you, but it's hardwired into the bike's wiring harness, so it'll cost more to have it removed than to buy a new harness
