The Moto Quiz thing on stage with James Toseland, Stalker etc was a good laugh The Superbike stand put on a good show every hour too

i went today and i thought it was very good.

very spacious too and not as crowded as expected. the asimo robot was excellent and interesting to watch. couldnt you see the guy sat on the rafters with lots of puppet string though.

i bought myself some bargains too which is why i went and came back quite a few hundred quid under my budget so impressed.

a set of wolf leathers (not the latest but same version as those i race in) for £169, 2 OGK FF4 helmets for £125 each. got a cool vest thing for £30 and got the missus a HM Plant polo neck for £17. and she got her piccie with michael rutter.

overall i thought it was better than last time....

some of them custom bikes though.... wow!!!!!

anyone see the one on the carole nash stand!?!!?!!??!?!!?!?!?

amazing piece of machinery.

once i get some piccies uploaded ill put them up... wont be for a day or 2 though.

but anyone who is going if you see one bike look for the £145k bike on the carole nash stand with no wheel spindles!

The robot, and the Quiz thing was pretty good by NEC entertainment standards.

The show's tiny this year though...

And there's too many munters in lycra now

There's supposed to be one on the Sun Newspaper stand according to Haywards of Cambridge's - Guzzi and Enfield dealer - Web site

So, apart from the small convenience of the amalgam of manufaturers 'showrooms' whats the point of paying £15 plus petrol & parking

If i want to look at birds wearing next to nothing & sporting 'vacant smiles' it's easier to pop into my local bar - where youve got a much higher chance of shagging them - could never understand all the sad blokes trying to get their photo taken with the 'models' at these shows - can only guess that theyre trying to make their imported phillipino wives jealous

I've done it in the past. And you're right its utterly sad "Ooh look at me with some pretty girl, she DGAF about my sad existence even when Im here, so theres not a chance in hell of her thinking about me later"

I realise a lot of retailers are having a hard time, so maybe this year it's different, but everytime ive been to the N.E.C in the past (hangs head in shame) with a few exceptions most of the prices havent been that good, always found the BMF doo's much better for bargains & they throw in more entertainment for your money too
