Why oh why oh why are all these very worthy projects always done on such crap donor bikes?

I mean an XT500?
For goodness sake, why not summat like a Bandit 1200...something we can relate to?

Its an a old story that has been in the decent mags ages ago( probably built around the time the XT WAS a current bike)..the inventor sounds a bit of an oddball, but I like the spare wheel idea..

I have to say I'm impressed with some of the technical achievements you've managed. I like the interchangeable rims, and the adjustable nature of the bike. The low weight is very impressive.

But giving it CVT transmission is not gonna fire it up the hit parade, and nor is painting the whole thing council green. And it could do with a makeover...

I can't help but notice there's no price guide on your website. Care to indulge us?
