Live slow, live long

170 years is a good innings for a tortoise which moves at 1mph.
12 hours is a good innings for a a mayfly which moves about at warp speed.
Elephants are slow, they live a long time.
Greyhounds are quick and age at 7x human rate.

So, does this mean that Harley riders live longer?

I plan to live fast and live long.

Wish I still had the Enfield!

Perhaps it just seems like it?

Probably, but not for the reason's you stated...its much harder to high-side a harley and headbutt a lamp-post than it is on a ZX-10R.

Bollocks to that. I'm in no rush to die either, but would you really want to live to an age where every movement is painful, where you start losing your mind, and where you can't take care of yourself? No .

We can't chose how we die but we can chose how we live.

A lot of Harley riders are already dead, but that doesn't stop them from riding. Take a look next time you pull up to one!

Ride fast, die young, leave a pretty corpse.

Riding fast and leaving a pretty corpse are mutually exclusive. One or the other mate.
