What he said, a KX is a pure MX bike with no road going version.

Right, KMX thats the fella!
Apparently they've been around for donkeys years, anyone know how much an older one can be picked up for?

And what about the DT125?

Someone picked up a DT175 runner for £125 over Christmas

most of the 125 learner off roadies will have been hammered/neglected ! But you can get 'em for anything from £300 to £2000............would go with KMX200 should be able to get one for around £800 in good nick, also was an import DT200WR ?

My first bike was a 4yr old KMX125......paid a grand for it and kept it 3 years.
Ideal for a mixture of short commuting and greenlaning and bloody good fun too.
Shame Kawasaki didn't continue the 200 version...not many of those about, I spent ages looking for one without a result.

I had a KMX years ago and prefered it to a mates DT 125R by a fair way.
You should be able to get a good un for less than £800.
KX is a totally different animal
