Isle of Man TT: Over 500 marshals still needed

With the high cost of ferries and minimal accommodation on Mona's Isle, how about some subsidised trips and beds for the volunteers needed. There are a lot of fixed income guys and girls (OAP's) who find the TT more financially out of reach every year. We have the time and the sense of responsibility to do a good job and once trained would be a regular source of marshal material for several years, why not some short term contracts.
My personal experience is a 200% increase in cottage rental over a 3 year period, maybe it's time to reconsider the caravan ban just for the TT with limited travel restrictions.(By area), say Ronaldsway Airport).

Not just OAP's, some of us that work full time can't afford to go & marshal

I think a lot more main land marshals may go if there was some sort of help with the cost?

With ferry & accommodation & food, etc for 2 weeks it must be getting on for costing £1000?!?!

CADWELL THE BEST TRACK IN THE UK!!!!!!!
