What a load of rubbish who is he trying to kid, as a basic police driver he is already upto IAM standards or above.

If he was ever a traffic cop and got his advanced certificate he is upto and above IAM examiners. A police class 1/1 advanced ticket involves a lot more than the highest IAM standard.

He doesn't need someone to teach him the speed limits as ACPO's road policing rep, he advised the government on speed related matters.

This is nothing more than SPIN, should be a politician.

he's a high profile person and he's done a big whoopsie. if he took no action and nothing was printed about him for a few months, a lot of people would be baying for his blood

Maybe that's why he has gone to the IAM, his own force policy would mean that as a disqualified driver he would loose his permit and have do at least a refresher or some other form of remedial to get it back.

Nothing here to suggest he was a serving traffic cop. But "Chair of Roads Policing Enforcement Technology". So he's to blame for speed cameras, and wrong insurance details on the PNC.

Is this the guy caught speeding up here?

Wasnt he in a marked car that he hadnt told the forces up here he was using in thier area.......

then got nabbed on the most policed road in scotland.....?

no mate....he was clickes on the a483 near Chirk ....apparently going towards North Wales....either going for a day trip to Rhyl or to meet his doppleganger tosser mate Brunstrom

No he was head of my force's driving school ... he's retired now but did a bit of squirming before he put his hand up at court
