Do you just shove the jacket in the machine ?
My jacket has no washing instructions on it so I haven't washed it, i was worried about the armour 
if the armours removable take it out.
i think u have to have it on a low temp wash and u cant stick em in the tumble dryer.
u have to let it dry naturally i think and dont stick it on the radiator. the radiator affects the waterproofing i think. someone said it about gloves tho so they mite be different.
hold on.... this is what my Hein Gericke jacket says....
remove armour before washing.
delicate cycle.
mild detergent.
no fabric conditioner.
max tem 30C.
rinse thoroughly
wring with care.
close zips and velcro enclosures before washing.
do not iron.
do not dry clean.
do not tumble dry.
do not bleach.
treat regulary with suitable impregnation spray(
thats a bit much... )
