Hein Gericke gone into administration

I don’t know if someone has already posted this but I don’t recall reading about in on the site, but it seems Hein Gericke UK has gone into administration and all UK stores are flogging off all their stock cheap. Which is good if you are looking for new gear at a cut price but bad for the UK bike industry in general I would think? I know you can buy everything on line but with decent bike gears at the cost that it is you still need to go somewhere where you can try it on etc.

I agree - a bad day for biking in the UK.  I've always found HG kit to be reasonably well priced, and the Gore-Tex waterproofs have never let me down.  I hope somebody will take it on and keep it going.
