Apparently Matchless have bought AJS!  

They've called the new-fangled company 'Associated Motorcycles' or something.  Can't see it working myself.

When there's nothing to report in the bike world then folk involved seem to have to justify their existence by picking up on old stories, or, as many daily newspapers do, make it up.

Why did Visordown report this particular sidecar ? Someone on the staff just happened to be trawling through some other forums, or websites I suspect. No worries, it happens. However, my point was that this particular reference was a wee bit dated, so it was worth taking a pop.

Can't believe the story about AJS and Matchless. Next thing will be someone suggesting Nortons and Triumphs getting together, along with Villiers.
