Fake motorcycle police tit J10 M4 into London

Bloke on a Pan Euro with blue, red and yellow high-viz stickers, white lid and hi-viz yellow "THINK" bib, riding at 72mph along the M4 in the middle lane.

Just you alone caused at least a mile tailback of confused and foolish car drivers, all worried about overtaking you. While myself and a few other bikers had to then filter through cars - that would normally be doing a respectable 85mph - that were changing lanes and sharp braking to 'avoid' speeding past a rozzer on a bike.

Either join the police or, if you're gonna dress up like a tit, at least ride at a decent lick.

I've seen a couple like that. They are usually on a BMW (I hate to say) but I passed one on the M11 who was doing 72 with a queue of traffic behind him, in the outside lane. As I passed him he indicated for me to slow down and then pointed up into the sky. What a complete prat.

Seen one, maybe the same a few weeks back.  Bollocking 2 guys on Zx9r's then some cars, i was convinced for 10 mins then seen the light and gave him the finger.  Was chased by another nob jockey all dolled up with an orange light trying to slow me down months ago, even had his orange light flashing, quite a few on the M4 i'm afraid.

Unfortunately on the M6 the other day as it joins the M5 copped a right bollocking off a real copper.

Flew past him whilst filtering only to realise that he wasn't one of these look a like pratt's

Give him his due he just bollocked me then went on his way

(well I think he was a real copper)

Why do people do this.

It's fine if they're using it to their own advantage to bomb along at 90, but riding at 72 messing everyone else up?

Saddos - remind me of Jewell and his "I wanna be a Marine, so I'll hang round them and get my haircut like them" approach to life.

I’m not allowed to have any of these as my avatar, so here they are on my sig instead. However, I now can't add any new ones

Did you ever hear anyone say “That picture had better be banned, because I might look at it and it might be very damaging to me”

Spotted another wannabee twat on the M40 North on Thursday. White Pan, black leather trousers , white lid and luminous jacket. Even had refelective stripes on the bike. Was doing 70 in the middle lane pointing to a car driver to move into Lane 1. WTF??? Don't know why they do it but he was pretty good and hard to spot until I was right on him.

Im always gonna be wary of this now, knowing my luck ill assume its a wanna be twat, and give him the finger and its a real one!

Why do they do it?  Cant they be prosecuted for impersonationg a police officer?

surely unless they have a BLUE light, they are wannabees? There is a white BM version ocassionally on the A406, but everyone just ignores the twat.

No unfortunately, unless they have blue lights or stickers that say police, they are doing nothing wrong,  I've seen a guy on a white Pan with luminous stickers and signs saying POLITE on it, still can't be done for that!

That guy comes all the way into town, i usually seem him just north of Brixton. Got wise to tht one now, i dont shit myself when i catch him anymore.

may the force not see you ...

There's another one on the M1... I think the same one is on the A1 sometimes too.

Usually see him either J5 towards London on the M1 or after the M25 junction on the A1 also Black leather trousers, yellow jacket, white lid, white honda dullsville and all the stickers.

Poor bloke on an SV this morning was following him and a respectful distance doing < 70.

On the upside the fake copper does move across to let you past if you're making good progress. He's still an arse though.

Give them all the finger..if its a real filth at least you will get an exciting ride into work as he chases you

i wear a bib on the highways, but don't give a hoot if anyone flies past, i just think you're a brave sod for going that fast and wish i had the guts to do it too.

Besides my little restricted 400 would probably die first.

I can't think of anything to put here.

Dont know how true or legal it is but there was rumored to be a civilian operating a hand held laser camera on the road from the A69 to Alston near Hexham, handing camera back to police as evidence

There's a bit of that going on in a few areas. However all you'll get is a letter saying something along the lines of "you were speeding, don't do it any more". You can't be prosecuted by a civi operating a speed cam, so i wouldn't worry too much.

gotta say .......

all those porker wanna be's need to get a life!!!!

if they wanna go spotting get a raincoat, thick rim glasses & a little black book!!

after all there is loads of trains about for them.

i must say the times i've been pulled for doing silly things like going round an island the wrong side for example the coppers are very reasonable, and then let me go on my way.

of course you will always get one who just woke up on the wrong side of the bed.... just wanting to give you a ticket.

but the bikers who want to dress up like a cop on their pants bike, probably dress up as women at weekends too!

this is weird!

first time on this forum and today went past some one on a almost police bike today for the first time!

never knew there were bikers that sad, did scare me for a moment though!
