Have a google

High powered RWD car, corner, throttle foot to floor, steer into the slide.
How hard can it be?

Autocar do them, check the website or magazines.

Just like wheelies innit? Doing them ain't that hard, doing them with style is.

Try Autotrader and look under Nissan, specifically the 200SX section or Silvia if you happen to be in Japan....

.....or get a Chavalier with some bread crates under each rear wheel

I think Nige might just have something suitable already.

Small drifts very easy - especially in this weather. Large drifts and keeping them going without spinning out - very hard or lots of practice.

And you don't need a high powered car. My wifes mx-5 can be provoked into it - that's only got 140bhp. The capri needs something to stop it trying to do it at every opportunity at the moment

Went out in the MX5 yesterday buggering about. Couch had it spinning up for ages on the greasy roads, scaring the crap out of the Sunday drivers

200SX or a TWD Skyline seem to be favorite.

D1 is the top level (I think)

A mate of mine is into it, costs a lot to do.

I think he is teaching this season.

If you've got the talent, you can drift almost anything

Have a look here BN driftworks.com/forum/

Drifting is the car equivalent of wheelies, plenty can do little ones but the big long stuff is genuinely hard. Altho it was frowned upon at Bedford once wet is was possible to get some long drifts there....also some pretty fast spins LOL

I reckon it takes as much practice as wheelies to get good so another few months in the car should have the basics done

I have enough bikes thanks
