Had a DNA 50 as my first bike, 2001, before they got everywhere - got a few raised eyebrows on it . Top stuff.

Got a KH250 in the garage as well, that is a great cruising bike, but add 20 minutes to every journey to chat at either end to the people that come over and reminisce. There's a KH125 waiting to be worked on as well, that's gonna be a great little commuter/hoon around bike

The 4 stroke has a mad powerband, needs oil refilling every month or so, and is about to seize i think. The 250's never really missed a beat and is great for running round on. I'm sure that's the wrong way round.

Two bantams and a scooter, those were the days 50/1 mix or something like that. I always preferred to pour the oil into the tank before filling up. Then give the bike a good shake.

Last 2-stroke I owned was a GP100 I bought cheap off a mate to commute to university on. Pile of shite it was too .

Best fun stroker I regularly rode was my brother's 250LC in the late eighties. First bike I broke the ton on, got pulled on, scared myself silly on.....etc. Loved it :burnout: .

Now I have to make do with sniffing my 2-stroke generator running when I want a hit of that lovely smell .

Par !

In the 70's we had real stokers, none of this 250 cc rubbish.

I had the GT750 waterbotter triple and a Kwak 750 H2 triple.

You had to ride those bikes to understand how a large capacity Triple strokers performed against a large multi 4 stroke.

The 4 stroke was left for dead.

We really should have large multi strokers back on the roads once more.

yep, had a few in my time - had a Kwak Ar125LC back in 1984, RD350 YPVSF2, RD125LC, RD250LC. Currently got the two bikes in my sig - a tuned 350YPVS LC2 with TZR250 reverse cylinder front end, Metmachex swinger and TZR250 wheels and a RD350LC with Lockheeds, Metmachex, YPVS wheels and motor

I'm 36 and still love strokers

I had a bantam for a while. And I had a MZ125 on a long term loan for a year. But the KH125 I got later was a much better bike - really quite nippy with good neutral handling.

I gave what was left of it to Motorcyclefich to add to his KH collection.

I've seen the pics of the KX500 engine, looks rather knackered.

Velosolex, aint that a bycicle with a engine driving the front wheel?
