'Bike' magazine has just popped through the letterbox and contains a seperate mag. with the developement history of the new Triumph Daytona 675.
Sports bike fans? prepare to sell your wives and children into slavery, sell the house, your car, anything.....

The current Daytona looks like an old Kawasaki.

I suppose you are correct. But do they have to make it that obvious?

They all look the same in this catagory anyhow.

Why buy this?

It's got something the others haven't

A Triple cylinder engine

Although I must admit the T595 inspired sketch is much more preferable

I looked at the pictures and i just see a UJM. If they dont have stickers on the side i couldnt tell any of the current 600-1000cc bikes apart (apart from the Ducati's of course!).

i think it's byoodiful. i want one too... before i'd even reached page 5 of the bike supplement i was already thinking "what do i have to sell to get one of these"?

Actually the first thing that I thought when I first saw this was "Reminds me of a Ducati." I'm not a fan of sportsbikes - I think they look boring for the most part- but, the 748/916/996/998 style is one of the only styles I really like.

I'd go for the new Daytona.

Do you know what people are mostly? Bastards! Bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
I'm fairly sure if they took porn off the internet, there'd only be one website left, and it'd be called "Bring back the porn!"

Triumph said that last time, this time its Bike saying it after pitting the pre production prototype against a ZX6R and a CBR6RR.

This is by far the best looking 600 yet, and its triple! a bit of character at last from Hinkley in the 600cc class.

There is only a 1000 coming to the uk, so get the old deposits down!!

I'd buy one if I had the money!!

Looks like old news to me. Underseat exhausts just as everyone else is moving away from them. The new GSXR600 and 750 look much better - more original and risk-taking with their look (mainly down to the exhaust, which Suzuki also started this look with their gixxer thou last time and which at first everyone didn't like!)

Looks strange to have indicators hanging out of the fairing these days!

Looks nice although it,ll probably have a, dare I say, boring typical Triumph CBR esque power delivery. No offence all

more original than what, every other 600/750 inline Jap four ? The Triumph is different cos its 675cc and a triple, but the Gix 600 is more 'original' ? How so ?
