Lights are not a legal requirement during daylight hours.I have wired up a brake light, but not for legal reasons, more for personal safety when riding in a group
If the bike left the factory with lights, indicators, horn etc then it must still have them fitted and working to comply with Construction and Use regulations regardless of the time of day.
OK what is the nick for no horn?? is it a fine and points or just a fine thats what im trying to find out ??
Get a bs stamped plate for the pipe off ebay,
Don't need a plate as long as the can doesn't say 'Noy For Road Use' on it you dont need to have any markings on the can now.
a. the make and type specified by the motorcycle manufacturer (See info column).b. British Standard classification BSAU 193 or BSAU 193a or an EEC approval number prefixed by a small 'e' marking or an ECE approval number prefixed by a capital E.
c. A silencer marked 'NOT FOR ROAD USE', TRACK USE ONLY' or similar words.
Unless it's goes through a daytime only MOT... but it must do so even if under it's under three years old ..and he still neds a horn
Question is will I get nicked?
A fine mate and no more ...and more than likely they would give you a VDRS notice to get one fitted before it got to a ticket.
Sorry but that's not true.If the bike left the factory with lights, indicators, horn etc then it must still have them fitted and working to comply with Construction and Use regulations regardless of the time of day.
