Cost price Fireplaces ...

One of my local dealers mentioned that he had a couple of Fireplaces still in their crates that he wanted to get rid of. What caught my attention was when he mentioned that he would be willing to sell at cost price in order to shift them. (I'm assuming they're 2001 models, although I could be wrong.)

I know that, although their RRP is 9049, they can be had for as little as 6500. Before I let the cat out of the bag and tell him I might be interested, does anyone know what the cost price is likely to be so that I can double check the figure he quotes me?

Of course, getting insurance is another matter ...

Cost price depends on how many he bought... although I'd guess somewhere around £5500 upwards (???)

They'll be 2000 spec bikes, but they're no different to the 2001 bikes anyway.

oh, and the Black ones are the fastest

For some reason the latest Blade just hasn't captured the biking public's attention. OK..it might look crap but, it's a damn fine bike with arguably better balance than either the GSXR1000 or R1, yet nobody wants them. I know of a 6 month old immaculate Blade going in a dealer (X-reg with 2k miles on it) for £5500. Seems like a bargain to me. I fancy one for trackdays myself.
