Just cause your horm works it dont mean your battery is healthy. Check the battery voltage when you try to start the bike.

Every man should have a shed where he can potter, Visordown is my shed on the internet

Some of the lights are now not working ,How do i check my voltage ..
21/08/2007 at 16:24
multimeter

sounds like the battery needs charging / replacing
if it's 12 volts, jump it off a car.

Without Visordown we are as shakey as .... as a fiddler ... on the roof!

very much sounds like battery is just dead, try connecting it to another battery/your car (Just make sure it is 12v not 6v) with jump leads?

2 stroke - because one stroke isn't enough and four strokes waste two

V.man it sounds like your power bands aren't aligned properly. Any idea what colour they are?

21/08/2007 at 20:08
i think you need a new long weight

Depends what colour the power band is, I think the ones with red powerbands don't have them. It might be about to snap, if it does your top end will need all the pistons replaced. Phone your local bike shop & ask how much to check if the powerband is going to snap. It might be worth replacing it with a pink powerband as they are stronger and give better power.

the pnk powerbands also increase this new breed of scooter by 7 - 9 bhp at the wheel effectively producing the power of a 250cc machine instantly and at approx £59 fitted its a worthy investment, albeit the yellow 'anaban' make are prone to slippage.
