First up, what was it really? No one in their right mind would ride a trials bike 20 miles...

Trail bike maybe?

That makes almost as much sense as not being able to ride a small trail bike. i.e. none at all.

Talking to someone on msn has just explained the difference between the two.It was a trail bike i was riding.
What i meant about the hearing was that i had misheard what it was,so if it's a trail bike,I misheard it as trials(happens all the time)probably still doesn't make sense, but i know what i mean.

Oi.My hearing is no laughing matter
I,m not deaf as in I can't hear anything but it's a case of I cant tell what is being said.I can hear people talking, but it will sound different to what they are actually saying.I'm forever asking people to repeat themselves, more than once at that.
For example,I thought one of my hairdressing tutors was saying polka straight for quite a while, until I eventually found out she was saying poker straight.
It's not nice to take the mick out of someones disabilities. It's caused by a build up of scare tissue in my eardrum due to having grommets put in when i was younger to drain fluid of the ear drum caused by perforated eardrums.
so if i give things the wrong name or get things wrong, thats usually why

Don't worry Jen its the kind of thing a bloke with 29,000 posts on VD does for fun these days

Don't understand the the problem with the trailie though they are a piece of piss to ride could you reach the floor ok, did your have your weight on the pegs not your arse and was the bike wearing knobblies?

If you haven't ridden a bike with Knobblies on before it can feel very strange, could it be that?

I don't understand eigther.Yes had weight on seat ,not pegs.I've never ridden a trails bike before. It had semmi road tyres on.I think the problem was that it's soo light and it was too bouncy and the handle bars were so high and and I just couldn't balance it.I had assumed it was just like riding any other motorbike.

Pardon?

If you can keep your head when all around are losing theirs, it's just possible you haven't grasped the situation.
