If i see plod, then move over to the road, it's easy enough, if they stop me, I always plead ignorance, as it's OK to use them in Bolton*. I don't think it is, but it seems to work.

I wouldn't bother with the petition.  It's done and dusted.    A TfL release on  Congestion Charging yesterday included that:

The Mayor has asked TfL to bring forward plans to allow motorbikes to ride in bus lanes, and expects the first lanes to open later this year
