Lives up to it's name in that it has Budget Service too.

I needed to sort out both car's tax, so dig out the various bits and bobs only to realise that when my wife renewed her insurance this year that we never received the insurance certificate from Budget.

Rang them up for a replacement and they want £12 to print a new one. Daylight robbery - they use automated systems so there is no excuse for this sort of fee other than pure profit over customer service.

Compare this with Carol Nash, who when I lost a certificate for the bike in the past, had one with me the next day and no charge.

So who do you lot use and why?

Who won't you use and why not?

I use The Insurance Line as they're cheap and have decent service.

I won't use 1stQuote again as they couldn't have given a stuff when I had a car interface.

Had the same problem with H&R - even though the other party admitted full liability, I'd put in a claim on my insurance to speed things up - BIG MISTAKE. I ended up having to do all the chasing despite the fact I was paying for Fully Comp and Legal Protection.

I will be switching back to Carol Nash as though they may not have been the cheapest - I have always found their service to be excellent.
